I have a stubborn pittie who multiple trainers couldn't have breakthroughs with previously. I turned to Carola and her balanced method to training was what my girl needed. She offers multiple training methods to determine what suits your dog best because not all dogs respond the same. Carola is flexible and offers a variety of training times to help accommodate a busy work schedule. With the help of Carola my stubborn pittie was able to pass the canine good citizens test! When I got my recent rescue pittie I knew who to call. We have made tremendous strides in a short amount of time. Her balanced training methods not only teach obedience but also build a positive relationship with your dog while also making training fun and enjoyable. Ive been able to successfully train both my rescue pitties in basic/intermediate obedience in the home and public spaces, scent work, and pass canine good citizens test. Thank you Happy 4 Paws!

Carola is amazing! I have multiple dogs but had a very specific issue I wanted to address. She was the first trainer I’ve met that understood the need and didn’t try to find other things that needed work. She calm and patiently worked with our multi-dog home and we had success! I would absolutely recommend Carola. I have tried other trainers in the past and none were as personable and understanding.

I highly recommend Carola for your in-home dog training - both basic and advanced. I have so many great things to say about her, I couldn’t possibly get them all in one post. But, we bit off more than we could chew when we got 2 puppies (a chocolate Lab and a Rottweiler), each with their own individual challenges and personalities. Her background with working breeds really caught my attention when looking for another trainer, and after just one session we saw improvement in our puppies. Our Rottweiler was on-leash dog and people reactive, and our lab could not figure out loose leash walking and that not everyone was his friend. Surprise right? After one session the lab’s loose leash walking was so much better - it was the best walk we had ever had with him - and I learned several tools to help the rottie’s reactivity - because that training takes way more than one session. Since then, BOTH dogs have received their AKC Canine Good Citizen certification, and I can walk both of them by myself. (Which is huge because their combined weight is more than double mine.) And now we’re working on scent work with our Rottie and tricks with our Lab (because he’s lazy lol). Carola really loves what she does, her knowledge is endless, and her gentleness in getting the boys to listen to her are incredible. They love it when she comes over. Lol And I love that she explains why she tells us to do certain things instead of just saying “do this.” It’s so helpful. She will also demonstrate how to do something so I can watch and learn and then she will correct me as I’m trying it. It’s perfect. I definitely definitely definitely recommend Carola!
