Hand-In-Paw Training & Boarding

After losing two of my Goldens, Pixie 12 (renal failure) Red 8 (bone marrow cancer) we began our search for a new pup. I went onto the AKC website to look for a breeder. Peg Cobb came up as Breeder of Merit. I contacted her and found her to be extremely knowledgeable of the breed, compassionate to our recent losses and overall a great breeder. I visited her kennel where every aspect of the physical environment was organized. Her dogs were absolutely beautiful. I was impressed with their smarts, especially Tristan. Cancer is a concern for Goldens. Peg has all of her dogs enrolled in a Golden Retriever lifetime study. The fact that she breeds for health purposes was so important to me. We looked at the pups, had a hard time choosing just one. We chose "blue" boy. Our pup, Trapper has lit up our home. He has filled a void that became present after the loss of our two dogs. He is handsome, smart, funny, a favorite to all of the neighborhood kids. He is everything we ever hoped for in a dog. Since we have brought Trapper home, I have contacted Peg for recommendations on a variety of things from training, diet, car sick remedies...etc she has always responded promptly and her suggestions have always been spot on. I highly recommend Peg Cobb as a breeder. She is more than a breeder of merit. She is dedicated to her line and wants the absolute best match for her pups.
