HALO is a unique organization that offers many specialized services. Regina Willen is Board Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist and a Behavior Consultant for the International Association Of Animal Behavior. Regina will assist with dog and cat behavior issues such as aggression (not limited to) and training (CGC and obedience). Halo also offers specialized boarding for dogs that cannot stay at the average kennel, boarding and training, and daycare. Regina will work one on one with your animal during their stay.

Halo offers a unique service of training during boarding to pet owners. Although it is highly recommended that your dog remains in your home during training, we understand that there are some situations that require your dog to be boarded while going through training.Halo is unique in that we have a Board-Certified Animal Behaviorist on the premises who will work one on one with your dog on a daily basis. Regina will only employ science-based techniques and protocols. She will never use aversive training, and only positive reinforcement. Price listed is per day, per pet. · Listed price: $50.00

We recently started sending our boys to HALO, after losing one of our dogs and then having pack realignment issues. We were super scared of what they were going to say about the recent dog fights. We didn’t want to have to get rid of one of our guys after losing our 19 year old. It was a heartbreaking experience. We now can honestly say that dealing with HALO has been amazing experience. These people truly understand the minds and behaviors of dogs. With their knowledge, we as owners are learning how to read our dogs behaviors better and make better decisions to set them up for success. Regina, Courtney and the whole staff should receive some sort of award for the amazing job that they do. Thank you thank you!

We are so happy we found Halo! When we adopted our pup he was scared of lots of things, and we soon realized he had some issues with reactivity and lack of socialization. Regina helped us introduce him to other dogs and now he loves participating in daycare and play groups there. We also went through the Canine Good Citizen class and he made a lot of progress being more comfortable around people and in new situations! We are still working on leash reactivity, but Halo has given us some great tools and direction.

I love HALO! I adopted my reactive puppy at the start of the Pandemic and had no idea what I was getting into. My dog is still a handful, but she's come so far because of the hard work the HALO staff has put into her. They're super flexible, kind, and understanding of dogs that struggle with socialization. They're also very happy to answer any and all questions you may have about training a reactive dog. I don't think I could trust any other doggy daycare (or boarder!) with my dog!

Helpful, professional, and supportive. We rescued a 5 month old stray and then Covid hit. He is not well socialized and HALO has been helping us get him used to other dogs and people. Highly recommend them.

We’ve been bringing our rescue dog, Obi, here over the past 9 months. We first met with Regina who assessed what our dog needed to become more social and less anxious. Since then, he’s been attending Halo’s supervised play groups where he can safely be around other dogs. Regina has also come to our home to help us with Obi there too!
