HALO is a unique organization that offers many specialized services. Regina Willen is Board Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist and a Behavior Consultant for the International Association Of Animal Behavior. Regina will assist with dog and cat behavior issues such as aggression (not limited to) and training (CGC and obedience). Halo also offers specialized boarding for dogs that cannot stay at the average kennel, boarding and training, and daycare. Regina will work one on one with your animal during their stay.

Halo offers a unique service of training during boarding to pet owners. Although it is highly recommended that your dog remains in your home during training, we understand that there are some situations that require your dog to be boarded while going through training.Halo is unique in that we have a Board-Certified Animal Behaviorist on the premises who will work one on one with your dog on a daily basis. Regina will only employ science-based techniques and protocols. She will never use aversive training, and only positive reinforcement. Price listed is per day, per pet. · Listed price: $50.00

We have been taking our pups to HALO for many years! Regina and her staff have always been great! Regina is a professional animal behaviorist and she is very knowledgable, she doesn't shy away from difficult pets, she will work with them to determine the best type of care they need while they are boarding. They take care of their borders as if they were their own, going above and beyond in caring and feeding them and most importantly loving on them. The boarding facilities are top notch, spacious and the 5 fenced acres for exercising are fantastic.

HALO is an incredible organization. We adopted our puppy through HALO and I was so impressed by the thorough application process and how thoughtful they were in placing dogs for adoption. They strive to find a perfect match and will set you up with all of the support and tools you might need as you settle in. Our pup was fostered by one of their volunteers who gave her a great head start with socialization, crate training, and potty training. We can’t thank them enough for the work they do!

I take my dog to Halo every time I have to board, and they are the absolute best!! Regina, Courtney, everyone there knows exactly what even difficult dogs need & the care they give each dog is excellent!! I never worry about my baby when she’s there!

Halo is such an amazing place to board your dogs at. Our one dog was a stray and we found Regina to help her come out of her shell four years ago and have been boarding there ever since. We recently moved from Ohio to Wisconsin and when we want to go on vacation we drive all the way back to Ohio to board at Halo because there is no other place like it. No one will take better care of your dogs than Halo. Halo is the only place I can trust to take of my special needs girl Cassie.
