Called to inquire about doggy daycare. The first thing they asked me was what kind of breed my dog was. I said she’s a rescue not really sure about her breed but we did the DNA test and she might be a mix of lab, German shepherd and pitbull. ‘We don’t accept pitbulls’ was what they told me. Are you kidding me?!? Your policy of banning Pitbulls is not only discriminatory but also harmful. You're perpetuating breed stereotypes and contributing to the stigma surrounding Pitbulls. As an owner of a loving, gentle Pitbull, I'm appalled by your policy. Until you change it, I'll be making sure to tell everyone I know about your discriminatory practices.
We are pleased with Hal Wheeler’s who take good care of our Golden Retriever. She was just groomed and they did an excellent job. The holiday pic was a nice touch. We don’t use kennels often for boarding but when needed we trust Hal’s. Our dog enters and leaves never shaking or appearing distressed.
