This is our boy, Reese. We enrolled him in a two-week puppy school at Hakuna Matata when he was 4.5 months old, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The team at Hakuna Matata was highly professional and always answered all of our questions. We loved receiving updates every other day on Reese’s progress, which kept us informed and reassured. One of the things we appreciate most is that Reese had the opportunity to work with multiple trainers, ensuring he listens and behaves well with anyone. As a result, we now have a well-mannered boy who we can take anywhere with confidence—even walking off-leash at parks. We're so happy with the Hakuna Matata team that we’ve decided to send Reese to their doggie daycare twice a week moving forward!

Hakuna Matata Dog Care & Training is one of the best things that's ever happened to our family! When we got our rescue pup, he was very active, not a great leash walker, and exhibited a lot of anxiety in certain situations. We decided to do the two-week training with Mike, and we were not disappointed! Cooper came back to us with a much calmer demeanor, and Mike helped us to understand how our behavior could contribute to Cooper's behavior and happiness. We not only feel like we have a better grasp on what Cooper needs, but we feel he is a happier, healthier dog. It's also fantastic that we now have a trusted resource for boarding and any further training needs that come up through Hakuna Matata. Thank you!

100% recommend. My dog, Nara, and I had an excellent experience with Hakuna Matata’s 2 week board and train program. Joselyn communicated quickly and efficiently during the initial call and scheduling and answered all of my questions. Mike, the trainer, was awesome and really helped us understand Nara’s needs so we could continue training after the two weeks. The updates during Nara’s board and train were timely and helped me better understand what she was learning during training. She learned so much and we are so happy with the progress made. Overall I highly recommend Hakuna Matata for all your dog care & training needs! I’m also looking forward to taking Nara for day care!

Mike and his team are wonderful!! Mike has this dog whisperer vibe about him that is not only calming, but also super knowledgeable, caring and committed. Our puppy Junior completed the 2 week board and train program, he learned so much from Mike and the other trainers. Prior to training, we couldn’t go on walks with Junior and he had terrible diarrhea due to anxiety. Junior still goes to daycare/training once a week to continue socialization but we are now able to walk a few miles a day and we believe the team helped build Junior’s confidence which helped his gastrointestinal issues. We believe in Mike and his team and recommend for training 100%.
