We offer Private Lessons, Daycare Training $ Board & Train Programs. After training, we offer grooming, daycare & boarding to reinforce their training. We are a Reward Balanced Certified Dog Trainers by the APDT & CCPDT. We have been training & rehabilitating dogs since 2015. I can not express how pleased I am with Hakuna Matata and the training and care my sweet Snowy received. She came back after her two week training and I couldn't believe the change and what she had learned. During that two weeks they kept me updated with texts, pictures and video that showed her learning progression and all the fun she was having with her new friends. The human training was very helpful to continue what she has learned and they will continue helping you and your doggo for their life span. This is by far the best dog training in Charlotte.

These guys do a great job across the board and you can tell they really love all the dogs they work with. Great at training even the most stubborn of working breeds. The time they dedicate to the initial training, training the owner, and follow up training is top notch bar none. They also send you regular photos and updates when your pup stays with them for status updates.

What a blessing this has been!! I have a SUPER anxious 3 year old aussiedoodle and this was my last resort.
Leaving him there for 2 weeks was hard but the constant photo/video updates helped so much!
Michael and Joselyn are both great people and both were easy to get ahold of any time I had questions! (Both keep in contact with me now that my dog is home too!)

We had heard good reviews about Mike and Hakuna Matata and decided to give them a call regarding training for our silver lab/weimaraner mix. We had difficulty and little success with previous trainers, however were very pleased with Hankuna Matata. From our first phone call and speaking with Jocelyn, to the extensive training that we as the owners received when they returned our dog to us, we could not have been happier! Our dog now knows how to calm herself, knows verbal and hand commands and acts appropriately around our guests.
We would highly recommend Hakuna Matata and will use them again with any other dogs we add to our family!

Where to begin? Michael and Joselyn were wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. The communication and detail with which Joselyn explained the training process and her ability to answer all of my questions and put my mind at ease was why we felt that Hakuna Matata Dog Care & Training, LLC was the place for Zoey. We had to reschedule Zoey's initial training because she ended up sick and Joselyn was wonderful at helping us quickly figure out alternative arrangements. During Zoey's training, Michael was consistently providing updates with videos and pictures to highlight Zoey's achievements. We were so amazed at the 6-hour training from him at the end of Zoey's training to ensure that we could understand how to help Zoey continue to be successful at home. Zoey has been given all the resources and tools to continue her success and we could not be more excited to see how much she transformed. We are so excited to continue our journey with Hakuna Matata Dog Care & Training, LLC for Zoey's boarding and daycare. Thank you for changing Zoey's life!
