I cannot recommend hakuna matata enough! We adopted a puppy (large guarding breed) back in December who had issues with resource guarding, overly dominant behavior, and was becoming a risk to our other resident dog. From the first call with the owner, Mike, I knew she would be in good hands. He went over the process, was incredibly transparent and knowledgeable. Our interactions were never rushed and he took the time and care to make sure everything was answered and acknowledged. We brought her in for an 8 week board and train program where we got updates nearly every day from the team. We were never in the dark about what was going on with her which was great since we sent her at only 9 months old. When we got her back, I was most pleased that her entire personality was unchanged but she listened, was more balanced and we were given the tools and resources to manage her effectively. Mike and team laid the incredibly important foundational groundwork for her to thrive and we know she will be the best dog because of it; she already is! We also will be continuing her training with them through their boarding program when we go on vacations. We cannot thank them for the time and dedication to our girl, Jalapeño. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to any friends, family or future dogs of our own. They have a customer for life with us!

We couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible training that our mini dachshund received. Our dog was struggling with behavioral, potty issues, confidence issues, and general walking in public issues. Mike & his team did a great job to improve all of these area’s at their facility as well as a great in home training on graduation day. These trainers are truly professionals and we are very happy with the results!

I'll say it again ..This is the GO TO trainer and boarding for your sweet dog! The beauty of this place is that they only take dogs they've trained and they get reinforcement training when they are there! I can't speak more highly of the care and training of our little guy Duncan AND our newest member of our family, Clarke ... and the staff is still amazing! If you can get in.... Do it! You won't be disappointed.❤️

The Hakuna Matata Team are amazing! I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you them for the care, effort, and support you’ve given my Jackson. The training and attention he has received from the team has truly made a difference. He has grown into such a well-behaved, wonderful dog, and we couldn’t be more grateful. It’s especially meaningful to us now, as he’s stepping into his new role as a big brother and he’s handling it amazingly. We trust the team and the environment you’ve created, and we’d be excited for our new puppies to learn and grow there just like Jackson did. Thank you again for everything you’ve done for Jackson.
