I don't know if I have the words to express what an amazing job Jace did in turning around my 2 year old German Shepard Kade. When Kade came into my life, unexpectantly, to say he was a liability, a threat to my neighbors and their pets, is an understatement. He was acting out in an extremely aggressive manner. It was Jace who gave me hope that he was salvageable and with the proper training for the dog, and his owner, maybe we could turn this beautiful dog around. After spending a number of weeks being trained by Jace at H-d interactive, the dog I got back was a totally different animal. He still will try to push his limits from time to time, but now I and my wife know how to correct any improper behaviors. Jace really does a great job in explaining why the dog is doing what he is doing and how to address it. If you have a troubled pet don't hesitate to contact Jace. I can’t recommend Jace enough! My puppy Reggie was displaying resource guarding behavior and I didn’t even know where to start to correct this. My puppy ran the house before I found H-D interactions. Jace truly understands dog behavior and is so informative in explaining to me why my puppy was doing this and how we could help him work through it. He gave me and Reggie the tools to help correct this behavior, and the results were almost instant! Another cool thing about Jace’s training is that it’s based around play too, so now Reggie and I love to play fetch and tug!! Jace is so professional and patient with answering any questions I had, even on his own time! He really cares about his clients and it shows. Forever my “go-to” trainer!!!

Well.worth.every.penny! Jace truly knows what he is doing and understands dogs. This is the story of Ding (Birdie) & Dong (Fern). We rescued both, backgrounds unknown – when we first got Fern, we thought she was deaf that’s how much she did not listen, to anything - we called her the wrecking ball. She was easily spooked, would pull you down on a leash to go after a leaf that she thought was food, would bark excessively all day long at me and out the window at every little sound or delivery man. Her counter surfing caused a fire in our kitchen, and she broke a window trying to go after a deer. Enter Birdie - Birdie was fearful (often aggressive) of new people / house guests, reactive towards other people and dogs on a leash, had reactivity in the car, resource guards toys, had what we thought was resource guarding of me, and would constantly bark & grumble at my husband every time he came home and would talk. She started to attack Fern around the house, and it started happening more frequently. Fern could not walk by Birdie without her going after her and she even ended up biting me on my wrist in our kitchen one day. She also attacked us trying to get into bed one night out of nowhere, out of months of all sleeping in bed together peacefully. All of their bad behaviors started to rub off on each other and they were becoming completely unmanageable... It was to the point where I was on edge all the time, we did not want to walk them anymore, we could not bring them anywhere (we were those people with the annoying dogs that NO ONE wanted to be around). We’ve always had dogs but never any with issues like this so we knew we needed help. Jace had them for about 4 weeks and his training truly is not just a one size fits all. We had tried a trainer previously with Fern and it was obvious that basic obedience training wouldn’t cut it. Jace was able to identify the root cause of their issues and address them. He was able to determine almost right away that Birdie’s bad behaviors stemmed from Fern’s neediness and was not actually resource guarding at all, she was just flat out annoyed anymore by Fern's unruly behavior. His approach and method of training works. The videos he sent us throughout their time with him to train us were so informative and detailed, it was everything we needed to know in order to maintain their training at home successfully. We’ve had them back home now for a month or so, and our stress level went from 100 to like a 2 with them. Our walks are so enjoyable now, they are angels on a leash. Birdie and my husband are building a wonderful relationship. Every individual issue they had, and the issues they had with each other, have been pretty much completely resolved - and we now have the tools and knowledge to manage anything that does come up confidently. We are back to being one big happy family, Fern and Birdie are back to being cuddle bugs - constantly tangled like ying yangs with each other. If you are on the fence, or are experiencing any issues with your dog(s) that are causing you stress, it is SO worth it to reach out to Jace.

My dog Louie was scared of everything and very reactive towards other dogs and people. Jace was able to give him confidence and realize not everything was out to get him. I watched him go from being scared and on edge every second to playing and finally enjoying life. Jace sent many videos of his progress and to help with any problems I may encounter. He spent hours on Louie’s pick up day to make sure I completely understood everything and what to do moving forward. Louie is a new dog and I’m so grateful he gets to experience a whole new life. This training was the best decision we made for our dog and family. Our dog started out at other basic, general dog training places and it wasn’t working. We found HD interactions and never looked back. From the start Jace was a great communicator helping you understand the mind of a dog, their needs, and how to best communicate with your dog so it’s a two way healthy relationship. Jace addressed possession guarding, counter surfing, walking, and friendly dog interaction. He also is available to send videos and have phone calls beyond the training to ensure things are working when he isn’t there. I would highly recommend HD Interactions to anyone and everyone!
