We began using GymDog about 3 weeks ago and we are already very impressed with the results. Our dog, Chance, was adopted from the Humane Society and has had a challenging past. Initially, we were not sure how he would react to training but he has done a great job thanks to Kat and James. They are very patient with Chance (and us) during our training sessions. They are very clear on how to teach the dog with plenty of opportunities to practice in the studio. In addition, Kat and James print out homework after each session on how to help our dog at home. The homework gives step by step instructions on what we learned in our training session. It also provides instructions on how to advance the teaching once the dog can sucessfully perform the fundamentals. Chance has been to 5 training sessions and has learned or is in the process of learning how to: check in with us, heel, come, stay, leave it, sit and lay down. We are so grateful for GymDog and all the help they have provided us. They are very busy but always take the time to answer our questions whether it is in-person, over the phone or through social media. We are happy to continue working with GymDog and seeing how our dog will continue to learn.

We are more than appreciative that our veterinary office recommended GymDog in Johnson City, TN. We started her puppy training at around 4-months old with one-on-one lessons (VERY reasonably priced) and so glad we got a jump start on some behaviors. She's doing amazingly well with Kat & James' techniques and advice. HIGHLY recommend GymDog. You won't be disappointed...just remember you're training as well.
