We are a family owned business serving New Braunfels and the surrounding areas. We offer quality K9 training at an affordable price. Lessons are conducted in-home and/or at pet-friendly locations around town, depending on your goals and where your dog is at in the training process. We work with all breeds and training can begin as early as 12 weeks old. Training techniques include both operant and classical conditioning techniques, putting the emphasis on teaching and rewarding, not punishment. We saw remarkable progress after the first session! We were extremely pleased with the job that David has done with our dog and with what we have learned in the process.
David has been wonderful with our Goldendoodle, Lulu! His techniques and patience are amazing, with both dog and owner. The convenience of being able to train in our own home is a huge added benefit to working with David. I highly recommend David and look forward to continuing advanced training with him as I know Lulu does, as well!

I am very impressed with David of Guter Hund K9. He is honest, educated, and has done amazing with my dog. He has been wonderful at explaining to me how communicate with my dog, and how to understand where she is coming from as well. I have great confidence in his ability to train my dog, and maybe with a little luck, me too! I had some minor issues with my girl, that had me feeling apprehensive and seeking an expert. After just a few sessions with David, I am so happy to see them begin to dissolve and see vast improvement! Thank you David for your time, kindness, and patience. I look forward to more!
