As a first time puppy owner I initially felt lost and overwhelmed with where to begin training until I discovered Gungho Dog Training. My 3 month old puppy is making huge strides with his obedience training from the incredible info shared from their Bite Sized Training Tips! Cody has such great content that’s helpful, doable and effective. I’ve gained so much confidence by watching his YouTube videos too. I’m so grateful I found your community. After enrolling Alfie (my 3 year old stubborn mutt) into Gungho’s 6 week training program, he has become such a well behaved dog! He now consistently responds to all the commands that were taught to him through this course, and above all else holds himself with more confidence, which has allowed both a better working relationship and deeper companionship between him and I. Micah was super kind, patient, incredibly easy to work with, and catered to Alfie’s particular needs! He was always available to answer any questions, and clear up any confusion. Plus Alfie clearly loved him. I can now take Alfie on responsible off leash adventures with confidence, know he’s going to greet my guest appropriately, and that I can avoid putting him or others in harms way with simple, easy to use, commands that can stop Alfie in any misbehaving tracks! Most importantly, you can tell that the trainers at Gungho are not just in it for the money, and that they do truly care about you and your dog. Thank you Gungho!

We had such an amazing experience from start to finish! Cody reached out to me personally when I was looking for a trainer and had me set up with a training session with Micah within an hour. Our dog is a herding breed so while he’s very smart, he’s also very stubborn and not easy to train. Micah poured so much time and energy into not only working with our pup but working with us as well and he completely changed the way we thought about training. Before training, I was scared to take our dog anywhere or have people over because of his jumping, barking and overall poor manners. Now, our dog is able to settle down when we have people over and we were even able to take him to a busy brewery and a sporting event last weekend where he just laid next to us quietly. He is also able to coexist with our other pets now rather than biting and herding them. Cody and Micah, your hard work and education has helped us truly enjoy our pup, we are so grateful for you guys! We rescued an 8 month old dog from the humane society and she came to us with a few issues. Not kennel trained, would rip up anything near or in her kennel, pull on her leash when walking, whine and bark at the sight of us leaving. We were able to get into the 6 week Day-Train program in January. We couldn't be more thrilled with the service provided by Gungho! From start to finish, they went above and beyond our expectations. Not only did they train our dog to follow commands, but they also took the time to train us and answer all of our questions with patience and expertise. Micah was always timely, responsive, and truly dedicated to making sure we were comfortable and confident throughout the process. Our family dog Max recently completed the 6 week day training program with Gungho Dog Training. We couldn’t be happier with the results! Cody and Micah provide an incredible training program. They are extremely knowledgeable, supportive, and patient. The program covers all the basic training commands sit, down, here, kennel, heel etc. in addition to any problem areas you would like them to focus on. All basic training tools are provide with the cost of the program with access to a comprehensive video training program. They are not just teaching your dog they are teaching you! Learning how to work with your dog is critical to your pets success. This was the best investment we could have made for Max’s happiness.
