Gulf Coast K9 Dog Training

Both of our dogs were trained by Jillian for 2 & 3 weeks. She's incredibly knowledgeable and experienced in dog behavior. One of the dogs had spent two weeks with another training facility previously, but still had issues with resource-guarding, anxiety and aggressive posturing with other dogs and sometimes the cats. The difference between Jillian's training and theirs was night and day. While we initially came for daycare, Jillian recognized that dog's behaviors in group right away and placed him in the special small group for more behavioral and socialization training. She also was the first to notice our new puppy's gait was off, and it turned out that puppy has hip dysplasia. We were able to start her care immediately to preserve as much function as possible. I would highly recommend her services for daycare and intensive training. It's well worth the cost to know that your pups are receiving excellent and expert care with someone who knows what she's doing. It's always stressful for me to leave my dogs with someone when I travel, but I know that our dogs LOVE it there and are having a great time.

Wow! I am so completely happy with the training my Bernedoodle received. My mind is blown! I can not believe what they accomplished in 9 days of training. She now walks perfectly on leash, sits, lays down, and uses place command. An amazing transformation in my 6 month old dog’s behavior. I went from regretting getting a big dog to actually really enjoying her now. I highly recommend Gulf Coast K-9.

Gulf Coast K9 is an amazing company. We are truly blessed to have found them. Our 3 year old Chocolate Lab, Remington, who had a issue with going to his crate (growling and showing his teeth) and food guarding (growling and showing his teeth) and he bit our youngest daughter while she was feeding him. We were at a lost and didn't want to get rid of him or or put him down. He is a wonderful dog. So we looked around and I liked what I seen and read about GCK9. So, I contacted GCK9, explained what happened and in their busy schedule they made room and took Remi in. Remi stayed with them for four week's. When it was time to get him back, we had a whole new Remington. We had a hour long pre-go home lesson, two hour go home lesson and a hour follow up lesson. Following the instructions from the trainers and continued work from us with Remi, he is amazing. He's so amazing I got him certified as a ESA (emotional support animal) for my ptsd and everywhere we take him people comment how well behaved he is. I have recommended GCK9 to several people we know with pups that need help. We're so happy with the results, I will be bringing my other Lab to them as well.
