Nicole is an EXCELLENT professional dog trainer! She is well qualified to work with dogs and even those considered "aggressive". Not only did we get a list of her qualifications and certifications, but we got the results we needed, too! We had been to another training facility and they completely failed us. Nicole treated us and our pups with patience, respect, and understanding and best of all, NO SHOCK COLLARS NEEDED! Instead, she teaches you how to build trust and how to communicate effectively with your best fur friend. She took the time to get to know us and our dogs and was able to tailor her training to our dogs' needs and personalities. When we travel, we have our lessons on Zoom, and that is so incredible and convenient. I cannot say enough good things about how Nicole and GRIT Dog Training.

Nikki is fabulous!! Nicole is the most knowledgeable dog trainer I’ve ever met. She is has a background in psychology and it shows in her training methods. She knows how to break down dog behaviors, incorporate the appropriate lessons to address specific concerns, and give you the tools you need to improve your relationship with your dog (thus making the training process feel seamless.) She works off of a relationship-based training method (instead of fear or punishment based) which makes your dog excited and thrilled to learn alongside you in the process. Nicole addressed some concerns I had regarding dog reactivity and unpleasant car rides, and has turned my baby’s fears into excitement. Best of all, it’s obvious she cares about long term solutions and gives you the tools you need to succeed beyond your training sessions with her. You can tell she genuinely loves her job and I’m grateful to have found her when I did.
