This organization is a scam. The dogs are not service dog trained. When she delivers it and you have issues with its training, she tells you it takes a little while for the dog you settle in, in order to get your full payment. once she gets your money you’ll never see it again when you figure out the dog isn’t trained unless you take her to court. Then she gaslights you and accuses you of abusing said dog. I had a feeling it was too good to be true. Wish I’d trusted my gut feeling.

I am submitting a brief statement of my experience with Greyt Hearts Service Dogs, Inc (GHSD) of Woodford, Virginia. I wish to share my personal experience with this business so that future consumers can make a fully informed decision regarding a highly personal and serious decision to procure a service dog for themselves or a loved one. I purchased a psychiatric service dog for $10,000 in August 2020 and took possession of him in April 2021. Unfortunately, after letting Fezzik acclimate to his new surroundings, he was unable to perform his required tasks. I reached out to GHSD twice for assistance but ultimately I needed to return him that August. GHSD took possession of my former service dog and did not issue a refund, despite failing to provide the “fully trained psychiatric service dog” I contracted for. It soon became clear that legal actions would need to be taken in order to recoup at least some of the money I invested in Fezzik. By October 2021 I filed a $7,000 suit with MA Small Claims and the case was heard in March 2022. After presenting evidence, judgment was found in my favor and a payment hearing was set for May 4. GHSD failed to present at the payment hearing so I issued one final letter to request for payment from GHSD in May 2022, including notification that I would seek judgment in Virginia. Shortly after this letter was sent, I received payment in full from GHSD. Both the small claims case and myself have been satisfied at this point.
