I cannot say enough how valuable Green Mountain K9 and Chris are to the dog community. We tried EVERYTHING for our Bull Terrier: books, online classes, four 6-week in-person classes at another training center and saw almost no progress. We brought him here and Chris had him loose leash walking within 10 minutes. After the 8 week program we can walk him through a busy park off-leash. And after every class we saw phenomenal results for a dog that we were worried we wouldn’t be able to keep because of his reactivity. He even helped us train our other dog so they would be on the same page. We are forever grateful that we found Chris and Green Mountain K9. If you have a dog who is a danger to himself and others and you just can’t make any progress, PLEASE give Green Mountain a chance to see if they can help. They have been a blessing to our family and I will be recommending this training to everyone I know who struggles with a difficult dog.

I brought my dog to training because she was very reactive to other dogs and people. I could not bring her out in public and it saddened me because sure she was a sweet girl and everyone would walk away or give her dirty looks as she would growl and bark and looked like she was about to attack. Today I can bring her anywhere, into stores, parks and we even did some camping this weekend and she behaves, does not react to other dogs or people and gets lots of pets, treats and compliments! Green Mountain K9 (Swanzey, NH location) completely transformed our dog! We came to Chris in late winter after our dog started showing signs of increased aggression and leash reactivity, including an incident where he almost bit someone. We retrained our dog on basic commands, leash manners, crate training, and home visits - all the way up to reliable off-leash control using an e-collar. I acquired a 2 yr old German shepard. I'm use to bring up Goldens pups so I didn't what to do with this beautiful boy I acquired. So I I brought him to Chris and he not only told me so much about his breed, but gave me the tools to give us both a great life. When I first walked him, he was ok on the leash, now he is amazing, to the point that I don't even have to say the heel command. Chris will train you and give you the knowledge on how to get your dog to do what you want them to do. But you have to do your home work.you have to work with your dog. Chris will train you how to train them but you need to work with your dog between lessons with you new knowledge from Chris. And it works, it's so amazing how my dog responds to me and my commands, I can bring this 100 lbs German shepard anywhere now. We have such a good life and I can't be more thankful that I brought hom ti Cris. But do your home work that he gives you !!! Most of it is training you.
