I felt talked down to and condescended to the whole time. Perhaps Brian works well with completely inexperienced people who know nothing about dogs but any advice beyond "dogs like affection" was wrought with contradictions and difficult to make any sense of. My dog, who well trained and is working towards competitive obedience, couldn't understand him and he resorted to pushing her butt down to get her to sit. She showed clear signs of intimidation which was horrifying since we have been working hard to build up her confidence. I too felt intimidated by him, and my partner said "Brian talked to you like you were an idiot". There are better trainers that this, I promise.
