Do you train dogs to give a person with diabetes advance warning of a low glucose level?Can you train a dog to be a diabetic service dog? I've had type one diabetes 51 years and frequently experience low glucose level unawareness.
It's not me there down the street but they are awsome

UPDATE #2: Now that we've been through the full 7 weeks I've updated to 4 stars. Trainer gives good tips and take aways. Intermediate course is great to keep your dog behaving on and off leash. UPDATE #2: Now that we've been through the full 7 weeks I've updated to 4 stars. Trainer gives good tips and take aways. Intermediate course is great to keep your dog behaving on and off leash. Will continue with another 7 weeks. No one even showed up to train. Called earlier today to make sure and was told to come 7:45 for 8pm class. 8:10 now and still no one is here. Doors locked with sign that says closed. Knocked and called with no answer. Very dissapointed. UPDATE: I finally got a call back. They cancelled due to a broken ac unit. I attended the following week and day 1 of intermediate training went ok. Will update my rating after I've been through the full 7 wks.
