Great Lakes Dog Training Company

I cannot recommend Great Lakes Dog Training company enough. The owners and employees are so amazing to work with. They help with any further instruction needed. Our pup absolutely loves going there for boarding and comes back well polished on his training every time. We brought our 1.5 year old golden doodle here for a two week board and train, they were able to put a stop to all of the bad habits he had developed. They send report cards daily that include pictures, videos, and a description of what they worked on that day. Cannot recommend them enough!!

My review is overdue but I wanted to let everyone know that Jacob & Liz and the TEAM at Great Lakes Dog Training are AMAZING!!! Our family were impressed how they worked with our dog, Max. He was 3 years old when he took the two-week board and train program with them last summer. He still goes back there some time for the overnights boarding when we are out of town. He made such wonderful improvements after working with them! We had struggled with getting him to calm down especially when guests came over to our house and also had issues in the past with reactivity and attention barking and growling defensively. We tried a few other training facilities before; however, all didn't work and he got even worse after. I was searching for dog training online, I happened to come across their concept, "We accept Any dog, Any kind at Great Lakes Dog Training Company'"! Before contacting them, I called a couple of other places and I was told that they would not accept my dog because of aggressive issues. When I contacted Liz, she called me back right away and listened to my concerns very attentively and seriously. And then, she said her team definitely could help us. I asked her so many questions before making reservation but she always answered all of them very nicely. I almost cried when I knew they accepted Max! I really loved and appreciated the report cards, videos and photos that I received every other day throughout his stay. All of my family enjoyed visiting parents and relatives in our country without worries while Max was trained by them. You do need to stay consistent and keep up with the training at home. We do well most of the time. All the staff is really wonderful and professional. Thank you so much!
