"Dalmatians are hard to train," is what many people say. But... Great Lakes Dog Training said, "Piece of cake! Let's do this!" Many people give up on dogs, and in Miley's situation, she was moved from home to home in the first 9 months of her life. When we got her she was a puppy and was difficult, yes. I could not take her on walks AT ALL. But instead of giving up, I decided to take a chance with Great Lakes Dog Training. I am so glad we made that decision. I was skeptical an out a lot. Not only is it tough to trust your dog in strangers hands, but I really didn't know how they were going to accomplish the things that they promised in two weeks. They kept that promise. Miley is able to walk on a leash and heel, she listens to commands like I've never seen before, and she also made a new family. Zoe, her main trainer, is such a pleasant human being. Zoe wrote well thought out report cards daily, she included photos and edited videos (with cute music!!) and simply just made us feel excited to bring her there every day. So at first I was nervous, skeptical, and unsure... now I am so sad those two weeks are over. I highly recommend training your pup with Great Lakes. Remember, dogs are a commitment. They deserve our love and care. If your dog is not listening to your commands and you are finding yourself constantly yelling, believe me... it's time to sign them up. I also want to thank Katie, for being so communicative and wonderful since day one. I'm very proud of Great Lakes. Thank you for introducing me to a new version of my beautiful Miley. I would have never know this side of her without you. P.S. we will definitely be boarding her with you!
