Great Lakes Dog Training Company

I’m not even sure where to start. We adopted out Pittie from a shelter at 2 years old. He’s a lovable and smart dog but became overly excited when other animals were around. Great Lakes Dog Training was recommended to us. Everyone we spoke to was kind, knowledgeable and kept us informed. We enrolled our dog into a 2 week training program. We got pictures/videos everyday, along with a report card of the progress made. I cannot thank this company enough for helping our dog transform into a calmer and every to manage dog. Ethan was our trainer and I could tell from day one just how much love and experience he put into his job and the dogs he trained.

From before I brought my Raina to Great Lakes and throughout her stay, I loved the whole process of her stay, her trainers were awesome, I loved getting daily report cards , videos and pictures, it made me feel so good knowing she was in good hands and that she was learning so much, this was a great start to continuing her training that we both needed, bringing her home, she has learned so much and she is teaching me, I can’t say enough good things about her stay. I highly recommend Great Lakes. Thank you all so very much.

We had a couple bad experiences with kennels in the past, also Patrick has become unhinged on walks when he sees a certain type of dog. During our conversations I felt they were Quite comfortable and use to helping dogs like and parents like us. Patrick was literally having a blast from the word Go! When the trainer met him I could see Patrick was not nervous or uncomfortable!! That was the beginning of his 4 weeks with them! Each day I awaited his Report card to see how things were going. You can’t fake a happy comfortable animal !! He was having a blast while unbeknownst to Patrick he was learning and becoming less nervous around unknown people!! I can’t wait to put what he and I have learned into practice!! Big thanks to everyone who worked with my boy Sir Patrick Henry!!
