Our nine month old golden retriever Winnie grew so much during her 18 day stay at GLDT. Owners Jacob and Liz treated Winnie as if she were their own dog. We really wanted them to focus on Winnie’s fear of everything outdoors and being able to walk beyond our driveway with confidence. Less than a month after being home, Winnie is taking 2 mile walks - something we’d never expect. She is calmer, a better listener, and we now feel we have so many more tools to support her in becoming the happy and successful dog we know she was meant to be. We took our Pit mix to GLDT to get assistance with her out of control behaviors. We can not believe the dog we got back!! She is doing SO much better. The facility is great and keep you up to date with how your dog is doing and very good with communication. Our dogs trainer Aaron was so good with our dog and she loved him. Aaron gave us some excellent tools to use to challenge her mentally so we aren't so worn out physically. We definitely will be continuing our training journey with GLDT until she is the best dog she can be. Excellent trainer and excellent facility!!

I love Great Lakes, dog training! I highly recommend them! They have incredible knowledgeable trainers that can help with all breeds with any issues they may have.They are great with communication, and do daily progress reports.I have used them for two separate dogs and have had amazing results.

What a wonderful place! My little guy is very stubborn and they helped us break through to some basic commands. We did a two week board and stay. It was worth every penny. Beyond grateful for the entire team. They give so much of their hearts to our furry kids. If your thinking of training for your dog, Great Lakes is your place.
