Great Companion Dog Training

Steve helped us at a time when we really needed it! We had just brought home a newborn baby and our 14 yr old dog was have a really hard time. Steve was able to come to our for training within days of my first email and our session was super effective. We spent an hour together working with our dog and Steve was super tuned into our pets needs and helped us create a training regimen catering specifically to the things he was struggling with. We’ve been able to integrate our lessons into our day t day and things have really improved. My only regret is that we didn’t call sooner.

I adopted a puppy (Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix) this summer and it has been well over 20 years since I’ve had a puppy. After reading an overwhelming amount of conflicting information and trying to figure out training for myself, I contacted Steve when I started noticing some behaviors that I didn’t want to develop into permanent “bad” behaviors. Steve was able to work with me and my husband to teach us how to work with our puppy! He gave me the confidence I needed to successfully train my puppy. Steve uses a positive behavior approach to training (rewarding good and ignoring the negative behaviors). Steve came to our house and within four sessions we got the skills we needed to train our puppy with the desired behaviors we wanted her to exhibit. After each training session Steve emailed comprehensive and very detailed notes of everything we needed to continue our training. He reached out within 5 days after our visit to check in with us and answer any questions we had. I cannot say enough about how happy I was with the services Steve provided. I definitely would recommend him.
