Gray Wolf K9, LLC Dog Training

We are so thankful we found Gray Wolf K9! Myke has been such a tremendous help to us through private lessons and his resident program. He not only trained our dog, but gave us the tools we needed. We can now feel confident at home and out and about which allows our dog to actually enjoy himself as well. When he was with Myke for his resident program, he was so well taken care of! We still saw him and trained with him regularly and he was always so happy. I only wish we found him sooner!

We have a high-drive working line German Shepherd, and honestly he was much more dog than we were prepared for at first. His obsession with balls and his constant fixation on my youngest son made things really challenging in our home. We started doing private lessons and some boarding training with Mike, and the difference in our dog is night and day. He’s still a high-energy dog (which we expected with his breed), but he’s learned how to control it. He no longer jumps all over my kids and we’re able to take family walks together now - this didn’t feel possible before. Mike has been incredibly patient with both our dog and with me as I learn how to handle and work with him properly. We’re really grateful for the progress we’ve made and plan to continue doing private lessons so we can maintain and keep improving our dog’s training. As a bonus, he also hosts group trainings on Saturdays which have been great for getting our pup out and socializing in a structured environment. Highly recommend if you have a high-drive dog and need someone who really understands how to work with them. ⭐️10- stars!⭐️

I could go on for days about our experience with Myke! Absolutely wonderful to work with, affordable, and extremely knowledgeable about dog behavior. We adopted Bruce earlier this year with severe reactivity to humans and dogs. He also did not get along with our dog Yogi, which resulted in endless fights, they couldn’t even go on a walk together at first. Without Myke, I’m not sure what the outcome would’ve been! Bruce is now doing excellent at group trainings around other dogs and humans with minimal to no reactivity. Most of all, our boys are getting along and playing every day! We are incredibly thankful for the role he has played in all of our lives, I couldn’t recommend him enough.

I can't say enough good things about Gray Wolf K9, LLC. From the very first consultation, Myke and his business was personable, professional, knowledgeable (in a variety of areas of his expertise), accommodating, flexible, transparent and effective in his communications, and incredibly patient — not just with my dog, but with me, too... My dog had issues with problematic Behaviors such as extremely high prey drive resulting in issues with recall, attention, and maintaining control of him in different settings. After implementing Myke's advice, and instructions on how to address these issues specific to my dog, I saw real time changes, and to be honest, relief for me, and for whomever my dog and i would be in the presence of. The training methods Myke utilizes are extremely effective, and is supported by understanding your dog, and ensuring that you and your dogs relationship is clear, stable, and that respect is exchanged between you and your dog on all levels, at all times, no matter what. These tools and skills are something that cannot be taken away from me because the training is built into the relationship that my dog and i have with each other. I continue to practice these skills with my dog. What impressed me most of all was how well he understood what my dog needed from me, and he met me and my dog where we were. The approach that Myke took to begin trainings with my dog fit my dog’s breed, age, unique personality and needs that go along with those things. Myke's facility was simple, clean, welcoming, and it is very clear that Myke knows what he is doing, is committed to his business, and loves what he does. Myke always took time to clarify anything that i needed, promptly, and celebrated our victories. Thanks to Myke's business, my dog has accelerated in Obedience, and i feel closer to him than i did before because him and I can truly trust each other.
