Gray's K-9 Academy

My husband and I rescued a neglected Rottweiler from a local pound. He was extremely malnourished and pitiful. As he gained weight and strength, he also gained dominance. We had previously been owners of well balanced dogs, so we didn't understand what was causing his herding behavior, growling and even biting/snapping when food was around. We knew if we were forced to surrender Rex, he would likely be euthanized. That absolutely broke my heart. He is an amazing, loyal dog but his anxiety and unpredictable moments of aggression were not tolerable. Brittanie Gray is the main trainer at Gray's K-9 and her understanding of Rex's state of mind was the answer to my prayers for help with my dog's behavior issues. After 6 weeks at Gray's, Rex was more secure, calm and easy to handle and a joy to have around. E-collar training made quite a difference with him. My husband and I can now walk him with no pulling, feed him with no growling or biting, and keep him in place while cooking meals or when friends visit. I would encourage anyone with a dog showing aggression to check with Brittanie Gray. Her academy and behavior training likely saved Rex's life! But dont forget! Training on the owners side is an expectation too. But Gray's K-9 instructors were eager to demonstrate procedures and equipment, correct any errors we may have been making and offered followup for months after the initial training stay.
