Grapevine K9 Dog Training

We had our first session with Tim, at Grapevine K9, LLC, and it was terrific. We have a pitbull that has been attacked several times and now gets pretty anxious around other dogs. Not only did Tim come in and spend well over an hour for his first evaluation, but he went over all the basics that our boy had a pretty good foundation. Tim did take it all to the next level. He's very reasonably priced, especially compared to the supposed Military K-9 trainer we hired a few years ago; he was $400 upfront and never touched the dog or took the leash, and all he did was put a barbaric shock collar on our boy. I didn't even schedule the last two sessions with that jerk. Tim is very hands-on and thoroughly explained what our boy was thinking and contemplating. We have scheduled our second session at his facility to work with our dog on dog fear, as he used to love playing with the puppies at the dog park until his first two attacks occurred. With the level of trust that I am already beginning to see between our boy and Tim, I think he’s going to do miraculous things in no time at all. We did learn, which Tim confirmed, what the 5 most dangerous places for a dog are, all on our own; too bad our boy paid the price. Tim is an awesome trainer. My dogs love to see him and respond to his commands. I have 5, 100 pound plus stubborn animals. He has been able to convince them to listen and do what they are told. I use to have trouble walking them on a lead because they just wanted to pull you everywhere. Now, I can walk them with ease. They calm down when told. Sit, stay and don’t run over you to get out of their outside kennel/play yard. They have become so much more than crazy boys. They now pay attention to what you are telling them. They absolutely go crazy with happiness when he comes to work with them. They love their time with him.
