When I asked Scott Rouleaux, owner of New England Upland, for a recommendation for a trainer for my English Setter he gave me two names. I'm very glad I chose Derek. He did a wonderful job with Rowdy. His recall is excellent, and rarely needs a correction. In my opinion that is the most important thing a dog needs to do... come when called...whistled...or toned. Worth every cent. I'll have him back to refine his steadiness.

Derek is the best! The only place we trust to board our hunting dog. The facilities are awesome. Very clean and a very nice training room. Also some communal runs for socializing. You would be hard pressed to find a better bargain for boarding AND training. Our pup always comes back better mannered than we left him. I have also used Derek for help training my dog. He's helped me troubleshoot issues I'm having especially in preparation before a test or even tuned up for hunting season. Granite State Gun Dogs is one the few places we trust to board and train. I have grown as a trainer from working with them as well. Their ability to read and interpret dogs speaks to their vast knowledge. If you require any of their services and you're in New England anywhere near New Hampshire you can't go wrong!!!
