Granite State Dog Training Center

We took our dog here for training and even a year later, we still talk about how life changing it was. The dog we brought in was not the same dog we left with, he is a better dog in every way because of their training. Anyone who says it didn’t work for them just didn’t do the homework. We were at our ends with his horrible leash manners yanking our arms off every walk, to the point I didn’t even feel in control, and it’s now been a solid year of loose leashes, I can push a stroller and walk him, and even pass another dog and he will stay healed. The trainers here are real heros. Also the daycare is amazing, our boy gets soooo excited to go and comes home barely able to stay awake from playing so hard.

Our husky did a week of in kennel training and has continued with more training once a week plus goes to day care here. Before he starting going here, he was very active and wouldn't listen. He is now a lot calmer and listens much better, still learning but has come a long way. I would recommend the day care and training to anyone but especially if you have a high energy dog, he comes home exhausted but is always so excited to go and play with his friends. Jim and the staff here are amazing.

Took basic obedience training here with our dog. He was basically un-walkable due to pulling and over excitement. I had spent countless hours and tried many techniques and just got nowhere and was so stressed from my effort and no results. My wife signed us up and I put in my best effort. Jim struck me as an old school trainer, someone who's been doing this a long time. I was confident with him. After the intro class we had our first lesson. I will just say this - I was getting results immediately and I was so relieved and happy I could have cried haha! We finished the course and we can now take walks and get pretty decent response to basic commands. There is still work to be done but we're in dramatically better shape. My advice - DO THE HOMEWORK. Do it daily and for as much time as you can commit to it. Even 10 minutes helps. Don't show up and expect a 1 hour lesson to get the point across to your dog. Be consistent. Stick to your commands at home and don't make exceptions.
