Grace Dog Training & Behavior

We love the Grace Dog crew, and have been taking our pups here 3-4 times a week for almost a year now. We love the structure they offer, and that our dogs aren't just in a free-for-all for 8 hours a day. After trying more traditional training methods (I.E. punishments to go along with some praise) with our past dogs, i can confidently say the positive reinforcement method is also the only way to go, and even if you don't go to Grace Dog (this is all they use), do yourself a favor and only use trainers/day cares that only use this method. Ana has helped us with training, as well, and we went from two completely unmanageable little puppies to a house with some order to it. We would highly recommend Ana and Grace dog to anyone.

We can’t say enough about Grace Dog Training & Behavior! We purchased our first Yorkie puppy last November and tried several training options in the area without success. Our puppy just wasn’t getting it! Then we found Ana at Grace. We started with an at-home session, then daycare a couple of days per week with some training added in. Our Lenny K loved it! He became much more responsive to us with less effort on our parts. When we took a 2-week vacation in May, we did a board and train package with Ana. It was so hard to leave him, but Ana provided us with photos and videos of our little guy while we were away, in addition to sharing with us areas in which she was working with him. We gained so much confidence in working with our puppy that we acquired a sister for him in June — another Yorkie puppy named Mabel. Ana and her team taught us how to work with our puppies as individuals and as family members, creating the perfect blended family! Everyone at Grace Dog clearly loves and cares about the animals that are in their care. For training, there is always love, kindness and help for you and your pet. It has been awesome to have training and day care available. When Kirby was young, they knew what we were working on for training and worked with him on the same thing. Even in day care, they work with the dogs to help them maintain good manners. I can't imagine taking Kirby anywhere else. Grace keeps such a keen eye on all the dogs, how they are playing and if the dog is "acting like themselves". I can relax because I know they are watching him with the same loving care that I would. Thanks to Ana, Travis and the crew Kirby is turning into an awesome dog.

I looked long and hard for a solid positive reinforcement trainer in the Denver area. I wasn't willing to compromise on the caliber of trainer I wanted to work with, and found exactly what I was looking for in Ana and Grace Dog Training. She not only has knowledge that comes from years of experience working with dogs, but also the people skills to tie it all together and help you understand how to communicate more clearly with your dog (and probably other people in your life!) in a way that's as positive and encouraging for you as it is for your dog. Cannot recommend her highly enough!
