GOT YOUR SIX DOG TRAINING

I can’t say enough about our experience at Got your six with our dog Ace! He learned so much and has made him the best dog he can be! The staff are amazing and Ace loved it there. We even use them for boarding when we are on vacation and don’t ever have to worry if he is being taken care of or loved! And the refresher training is amazing. We get pictures and videos every time we leave him which always makes my heart smile seeing how much he loves it there! Every time we drop him off he is excited to go! Overall we love Got Your Six and everything they offer! If you are questioning weather or not you should have ur dog trained with them. Don’t! Best decision ever!

We boarded our 2 dogs here for a week in 2021 while we were in Las Vegas. I'm not sure what happened but when we pick them up they both had scabs on there noses and some smaller ones on there backs, and they where acting very strange like they were traumatized or something, one got quite sick a few days later but they may have been unrelated but i doubt it. We called and the staff didnt have any satisfying answers for us. A year later we were gone for 2 weeks using a different company we have always used sence and our dogs are always happy healthy and relaxed when they come home, almost like they got there own little vacation.

We adopted our 8 lb chihuahua, Carl, when he was 1.5 years old, or so that is what we were told. We were told he had survived Parvo as a puppy as well-which gave us the impression that he was going to be very strong and a perhaps a dog worth giving our full attention to. What we were not fully prepared for was that Carl was most likely isolated during the most fundamental part of his life. He probably missed out on proper socialization. This proved to create fear, extremely low confidence, and a hyper sense of separation anxiety that stuck with him for the next three years-until we found Got Your Six. My wife and I could not travel outside of road trips that were pet friendly because we could not board Carl. We could not get Carl groomed, and had to struggle with clippers in the backyard (comically-but often resulting in multiple bites and marital arguments) and we just stopped having friends over. Carl would lunge and bite people, including myself and my wife-and was quite fearful of anyone approaching the house. Regardless of who they were. Fast forward to our marriage, and the ‘enough-is-enough’ point, we did some research-and thank God we found Got Your Six. I’m reviewing this with Carl on my lap right now as multiple people walk by on a bar patio, which previously would have been impossible. Carl would have lunged and growled at each and every one of the people who walked by before GY6. He’s just chilling, enjoying the night with his dad. We signed Carl up for the four week aggressive dog boarding, and we immediately regretted not doing it years before. We received video and text updates daily every week, and were able to watch his amazing progress throughout the four weeks. Carl’s personality and loving nature is still there, he still loves to cuddle up, but he’s confident now-knows that when we leave the house the world is not going to end-when we touch his paws and clip his nails we aren’t amputating, and we could not be happier with the dog we picked up. We will be utilizing the six training sessions that come with the boarding, and look forward to Carl’s progression as becoming the best version of himself possible. This truly proved to me that Carl is not “broken”, he just needed help. Trisha, and the entire team was incredibly communicative, kind and very helpful. No question went unanswered. Carl even bonded with a trainer, Amber. He had a nice goodbye with her, and it was nice to know that he had a buddy. We cannot recommend the staff, the program and the entire operation enough. Thank you all so much for improving Carl’s life, and our life!
