Got Your Back K9 Life

When I found Got Your Back K-9 Life I was at my wits end. I told my crazy labradoodle either she was getting training or she had to move out. I was a little leary about people judging me for using the prong color at first but I got over that quick. I have a totally new dog and I’m very appreciative of George, Christy, Noel and everyone that always helps. I can still remember going to the observation class and thinking there’s no way in hell my dog will ever do this stuff. To my surprise she did it all pretty well. The best part about this group of people is they are real people they understand everything isn’t easy and they work with you to adapt. Thank you all again and we look forward to coming back for a visit one day.

George and his team are truly miracle workers. I rescued my 4-year-old Alaskan Malamute, Waylon, about a year ago and he was incredibly reactive. He would growl, snap, and bear his teeth at anyone who would get close to him (or me for that matter). By the time I got to GYBK9L, I had seen several other trainers, some of which told me he was a lost cause. Thankfully a friend of mine suggested this place! When I introduced him to the GYBK9L team, he tried to charge and bite at anyone who handled him and if he hadn't had his wire muzzle on, George would have landed in the ER. After the basic obedience program and meticulous, consistent instruction from each of the trainers, my dog was able to graduate muzzle-free and even pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen test. I have never met a more thorough, knowledgeable, and patient team of trainers, and would recommend them a million times over. The whole time, the entire staff ensured me that, regardless of his size, age, background, etc., my dog was in fact not a lost cause. I am truly eternally grateful for the new freedom and confidence the entire GYBK9L family has given us. We will certainly be back for more advanced training classes!

A year ago i was at my wits end. Between behavioral issues and reactivity i was over my head with my dog Raven. George, christie, and noel not only were incredibly helpful in regards to the training of Raven but also helping me gain the tools needed to enrich my dogs life and have a better bind with her. I went from having a reactive dog with minimal training to a full obedience trained dog who is capable of being off leash with minimal issues and almost non existent reactivity. Not only have i been a customer of theirs i also became a trainer through their program. I would absolutely recommend them whether it is for group classes or their board and train program. My dog loves being their for daycare and I always know she is going to be spoiled while boarding there.
