Gooddogz Training

It's with a heavy heart I share my pups experience in Foundation 1 group class. Another dog barked incessantly the entire hour, all classes we attended (we skipped the last class because our pup was regressing and picked up the barking habbit). Nothing was done except give the barking dog more peanut butter. The barking created a stressful environment for myself and our pup. We walked away from this class 170$ lighter with behavioral issues we were not experiencing before, with no idea how to resolve them. I've been looking around for other trainers and notice that most places don't allow dogs that don't stop barking in their group classes. Please, please , please, so you don't end up in my nightmare situation, take your dog elsewhere for group classes. I can't speak to the 1 on 1 training but I feel I need to share my experience with the group training to advocate for other dogs and owner's sanity.

I can’t recommend Nancy enough! I sent my 8 month old puppy to her for a four-day board and train, and the experience was incredible. Nancy treated Amaya like her own, using force-free, positive reinforcement to build her confidence and manners in real-world settings and take the first step toward becoming my service dog. I got updates at least once a day and Amaya came home happier, more focused, and eager to learn. Nancy’s expertise, patience, and genuine love for dogs make her an exceptional trainer. She prioritizes a dog’s happiness and wellbeing above all else, and I can’t wait to see what we do next!

My rough collie just finished up a group class with Gooddogz Training, and Nancy was absolutely phenomenal to work with. She really honed in on each dog even in the group setting and knew exactly how to tackle each one's struggles, and also how to hype up their successes and keep them focused. Her training studio was well kept as well as nice and quiet to really focus on bringing out the best in our dogs, and I loved how she demonstrated each skill to clearly teach us how to best train our pups! We will absolutely be back for more fun in the future ♥

Nancy is incredible. She saved me and my dog Quinn, who it turned out was terrified of most everything but acted like a menace. Nancy’s methods are gentle, but effective - she’s patient beyond words, which is what reactive dogs need. Gooddogz saved us from having to potentially give up Quinn and taught us how to handle new situations. Her approach works, shes kind and approachable and firm, always so happy when you and your dog succeed. She even helped when I adopted a second dog and we couldn’t figure out how to walk both of them - there were just too many feet to coordinate. Now we go for daily walks with far more coordination! There aren’t enough words to gush about Nancy and Gooddogz because she genuinely saved us and changed how all of us (dogs, people) react, and helped teach me how to handle what turned out to be the worlds sweetest, cuddliest, most affectionate, friendly but terrified dog!
