About Good Wellesley Dogs

At Good Wellesley Dogs, we believe that all dogs need to learn both what we want them to do, and what we want them to stop. Lessons are clear, caring, and taught in a way that both the human and canine can understand. Let your dog live the life he really wants - as a dog - in a home with people who love him. Let us show you how.

I consider myself a ‘dog person” and have owned dogs all my life. When I decided to adopt two rescue dogs I was a little surprised by the challenge and somewhat unwilling to admit that I did not have the skills to train them. They were skittish and reactive when they got scared. I tried a few methods with no result. We struggled for 2 years until Good Wellesley Dogs was recommended to me by Instagram. After a few weeks of watching the videos I was intrigued enough to give Hillary a call. That call changed our lives. Our dogs are now calmer, happier and well behaved. Friends and family are awestruck by the difference. Now people come to my house and say “Why aren’t the dogs barking?”. Hillary showed me that dogs actually feel more comfortable with discipline and leadership. Once you make that mind shift it is relatively easy. Hillary taught us many effective techniques in a short period of time. She really cares about improving the lives of dogs and their owners above the money. I really cant recommend her enough.

Good Pup Wellesley doesn't fool around and simply fill your dog up with treats. Dogs respect her because she's fair and communicates clearly. If your dog has some bad habits, Hillary will show you how to stop the nonsense.

With Hillary’s guidance, my dog Henry has transformed from being highly reactive, to a dog with a calm state of mind. With her help and training, Henry now has structure and our walks have gone from severely tense and explosive to calm and enjoyable. Her training philosophy works. Thank you Hillary. I can’t say it enough!
