Good Wellesley Dogs

A year and a half after our Bernese Mountain Dog passed, we welcomed another Bernese to the family. Looking back, I wish I had hired Hillary for the first one as well….Hillary is a game changer! We worked to “calm the chaos” in the house and on the street and then introduced the E-Collar. As adorable and loving our now 90lb, 16 month old “puppy” is, she is strong as an ox which can be challenging and dangerous while walking on a leash. Hillary never gave up on us and our dogs behavior has improved 100%. Thank you!!

If you've got a new puppy, Hilary should be your first call or email. We found her over Instagram shortly after bringing our chocolate lab home and were thrilled to learn she was local when we quickly realized we had no idea what we were doing. She has a warm but no-nonsense approach that worked not only for our puppy but also the humans in the house. After several sessions inside and outside our home, we've used the many skills Hilary taught us to help our puppy be his best, calm self. We just completed the leash walking series and are looking forward to doing some off-leash work together in the spring.

Hillary gave me the confidence I needed to become the leader that my dogs need to have in the house. She explained through clear directions and demonstrations what I needed to do. She gave me specific goals to work on in between sessions. My dogs are so much calmer now when out for our daily walks - no more pulling, lunging, or barking at other people or dogs! I am so grateful that I found Hillary, and I would most definitely recommend her services.
