Good Habits Dog Training

Working with Jason was a great experience. We learned lots of new training techniques to improve our communication with our 3 rescue pups. While we have had our pups for years, we hadn’t put any of them thru any formal training, so after we had our son we looked up Good Habits and so glad we did. It has been nearly 6 months since having worked with Jason and we still practice the new commands and skills and the pups are doing great!

Jason was amazing!!! He trained our 3yr old also Australian shepherd lab mix, she is a strong dog with issues walking when seeing other dogs . Jason’s training program taught us as well as Ellie. “We don’t think like dogs” and having high expectations is a foundation of the training, the combination of the Martingale collar and shock collar was essential, Jason was right on with the direction of Ellie’s training.

Pressed for time with my hands more than full, my family and I needed to leave the area asap for medical reasons during the freezing month of February (this is a late review sorry.) The only problem was while loading up, we discovered that our elderly 110lb. husky was terrified and seemed incapable of using the rv stairway. I called many of the "trainers" in this area. Jason was the only one who sounded like he had true confidence in his ability to help. (The others were all extremely hesitant and either denied assisting completely or recommended multiple, extended training sessions stretched out for weeks/months.) Jason was successful with assisting us in just one session. He showed our fur baby how to gain confidence, gave us some tips & tricks and was great to work with. We were able to leave and travel that very evening thankfully! At 1st, our dog started off using her ramp before going up the stairs, but now she is able to cautiously conquer the stairway by itself. Whilw he may be pricey in comparison to others, Jason's services are worth it. I would definitely recommend him. His love for animals and enjoying helping shows. If I ever happen to need assistance with training my dog in short amount of time again, he would be the only one I'd call. :)
