Misty was knowledgeable, fun and extremely patient with my 90-year-old dad and myself as we learned how to handle a large puppy! Dad’s puppy went from jumping on people to sitting like a gentleman waiting by the front door when someone came in. Dad‘s dog learned how to come when called, How to walk on a leash without pulling and how to drop the ball so Dad could play fetch with him! We really enjoyed getting to know Misty and look forward to seeing her in the future. She did a great job!

We have been training with Misty at Good Dogs Stay since the summer, and the experience has been amazing. I have three cockapoos — one adult and two sibling pups — and as a single dog mom to three, I needed structure and guidance. I told Misty after our first initial consult that she was a walking miracle with how much she was able to do with our sweet pup in just the first session. We are currently enrolled in day training with Misty, and while the price can be daunting to start as any dog training is, is has been worth EVERY PENNY. Misty has been incredibly attentive and personal to our needs with our pooch Milo and has taken every behavioral need he has head on. She never tries to force Milo into a certain agenda, but rather meets him where he is at and creates a positive environment for him to learn new skills and tricks in a way that works for him and us. I tend to be a bit of a helicopter dog mom, and Misty has been responsive to every question, comment, or concern I have had. We are only a little over half way done with her 12-week program, and are really starting to see all the hard work pay off. Be patient with the process because it may seem long at first, but with hard work and consistency, the outcome is SO worth it. We are forever grateful for Misty allowing us to finally start living the life with Milo we had wanted from the start, and we can’t wait to see what is in store for the last half of our training sessions with her!!

I’m so glad to have met Misty, really can’t say enough good things. Misty is very personable, knowledgeable, and patient. She cares about getting the job done and doing it right. I have been working with Misty for a few months. I have a dog named Oden and he is no easy dog, as a Rottweiler he came with many challenges. We used to live out in the country and we moved into the city almost a year ago. I had been struggling with him, as he is a reactive dog. He was not used to all the loud noises and other factors that came with living in the city. I was searching for months trying to find a good dog trainer for him. I couldn’t find a good fit. I felt like all the programs they had out there have three training sessions and they are quick to take your money and go. I knew with my dog it was going to be a challenge for us and for our trainer. Misty took us on saying that she would’t stop until the job was done, no more added payments! I have learned so much from her and her ways. She really cares about what my experience will be and for my dog.
