I needed my puppy boarded kinda last minute and the owner informed me she may need a second round of her shots. He, himself, called the vet to see where she stood with her vaccines and got right back to me and let me know that it was HER safety he was worried about. I was able to get her to the vet for her shots, called and let him know, and I was able to go straight there. He was wonderful upon meeting and assured me my pup would be fine while I was out of town. I also asked about training classes at a later time. He was very informative and truly seemed excited about what he does. I will be going back for any of my boarding/training needs in the future!

Just finished my 3rd week / training session with my dog at GDTK. Thus far I am pleased with my dog's progress and I like the way Les teaches the class. My dog is a mixed breed: Border Collie and Doberman. She is VERY intelligent and learns commands quickly. Les is really showing me what all she can do with proper training. I highly recommend GDTK.

So happy we choose to board our golden here! Staff is very nice and when I picked my dog up she wasn't anxious like she had been at other places. Thank you to Scott for working with us on time and being accommodating! If we're ever in the area again we know where to go!

A great family owned business. We’ve been boarding our dog Ozzie with the Tippen’s for the past 10 years. We live in Vestavia but are willing to drive the 25 minutes to Argo for the type of care Scott Tippen gives our dog. We love them.
