Good Dog! Training and Boarding

Our English Cocker Spaniel Murray has been boarding with Josh for over 5 years (after a recommendation from a friend). We are so grateful we found him! The boarding facility is amazing- Murray always jumps out of the car with excitement when we arrive. It's safe, clean, and we do not have to worry for one minute about our pup while we are away. We also love that he gets so much exercise and play time with other well-behaved dogs. We have tried house sitters in the past, and hands down, we much prefer to board our dog with Josh every time we travel and can't take him with us. We have been training with Josh to help our 5 yr old German Shepherd to deal with stimulation and distraction. Our sessions tend to center on focus on the handler and being confident in stressful situations. Josh has made it clear to me how to change my behavior with my pet so that we both are working in the same direction to achieve success. My dog is very intelligent and is learning to be tolerant and composed; the key is I am learning to properly guide him. I appreciate the manner in which I am being coached with straightforward critique and honest assessment. The training will have a strongly positive affect on my relationship with my dog and for that I’m very grateful. I highly recommend Good Dog training.
