Good Dog Rising training & behavior

We've been taking our dog Loki to Good Dog Rising since he was a tiny puppy, starting with puppy class, and I couldn't be happier with the results! The classes are engaging, well-structured, and actually fun for both dogs and humans. Loki has made incredible progress in his basic training—his commands are solid, his focus has improved dramatically, and he's become such a well-behaved boy. The trainer is patient, knowledgeable, and really knows how to communicate effectively with both the dogs and their owners. I highly recommend them if you are looking for dog training. Whether you're starting with a puppy or working on basic obedience, this is the place to go. We've seen real results and look forward to continuing classes here!

We have a rescue deaf small dog who was needy, reactive, and an emotional mess.when we walked into training, they had a perfect spot set for him that has helped him become a better dog. I look forward to going each week. Archie is becoming such a fabulous little dog. He’s more sure of himself and he’s learning that being deaf is ok and not so scary. This place is amazing. Highly recommend. UPDATE: Archie took another class to learn how to socialize. He’s become friendlier to strangers and walking him now isn’t a nightmare. We have had an excellent experience with this GDR and highly recommend them! The trainers are knowledgeable, patient, and truly care about helping both dogs and their families succeed. What really stood out to me is that they focus not only on teaching the dogs but also on training the owners. Learning how to communicate properly and reinforce good behaviors at home has been just as valuable as the lessons for my dog. Thanks to their guidance, I feel more confident, and my pup is happier and better-behaved.
