Good Dog Pet Training

I took my ~2 yr old schnauzer Bodhi to good dog yesterday for his first day of Daycare and had the BEST experience. It’s always a little nerve wracking leaving your dog in a new place but I feel 1000% comfortable that he is in the best hands there. They are very upfront about the format of the day there for the dogs- I love how structured it is because not only is Bodhi safe but he’s learning & growing as a dog (we booked tier 3 daycare for reference) . Overall I can’t say enough good things about our first experience & we can’t wait to go back !!

We couldn’t be happier with our experience! We’ve used them for day training, obedience classes, and board-and-train with our Golden Retriever puppy, Ivy, and every program has been outstanding. Anne has built an incredible team. Every trainer we’ve worked with has been knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping both dogs and their owners succeed. They don’t just train your dog—they teach you how to continue the training at home, which has made such a difference. Ivy absolutely loves going, and we’ve seen tremendous growth in her confidence, manners, and obedience. It’s obvious that everyone truly cares about the dogs in their care, and I always feel completely comfortable leaving her with them. We’re so grateful to have found them and recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone looking for exceptional dog training.

Anne and the Good Dog Team are incredible. I initially reached out for training for our new rescue girly who needed leash work and reactivity training. Eventually, our mini labradoodle became part of the crew to tighten up his previous training and work on impulse control. Anne explains, models and then has me implement the strategy. She is available to talk through any issues that arise and I truly feel supported by her and the team. In addition, she led a private session for my 3 year old toddler and the dogs so that he can begin to understand how to better interact with them. My dogs quite literally cry from happiness when we turn on the street for Day Train and leave exhausted and full-filled. Thank you Anne and the Good Dog team! You rock!

When we rescued our pup (malinois/bernedoodle mix) in October, it was the first time we had a puppy, let alone a large breed puppy (at 6 months he is already 62 pounds). Admittedly I didn’t know enough of what I was getting into, and mistakingly expected this experience would be as laid back as that of our prior rescue of 12 years. I was wrong and quickly realized I would need help. Our friend/neighbor who has had 2 German Shepard’s highly recommended Anne and Good Dog Pet Training. In fact, while a 20 minute ride from our home, Anne was a perfect fit to help me and worth the drive!! She has a Malinois herself, and helped me in each of our private sessions to work on Buck’s responses and behavior. One key example she helped me to overcome my aversion to a prong collar to see amazing results such that Buck and I can now walk for more than 45 mins at a clip, while being patient with other dogs and as we pass people. She has also helped with the importance of structure, and practice exercises to do on our own. I would highly recommend Anne and her team!!
