I cannot thank Adam enough for the changes in behavior I’m already seeing. I’ve dropped a good amount of $$$$ on prior trainers who “specialized in mini Aussies”- who “swore they could get past her anxiety.” Tried day schooling. I even had a vet tell me to go to a dog psychiatrist who was $500 for a 1/2 hour session. Misa is scared of everything and has massive stranger danger fears. Car rides give us both a headache, and even trying to walk her to and from the car is a chore (so imagine daily walks). After 2 months of working with Adam, we decided to take a trip up to Big Bear. This was the easiest time (1) getting her in and out of the car, (2) car ride in general, and (3) mini stop for stretch break. I know it will only get better as she get in this new routine. His methods are positive training based, and you can tell he genuinely loves all the dogs he works with. Like I said, Misa is scared of everything, but she likes him. 💁🏻‍♀️ I regret not starting her with him from the beginning. And yes, he’s worth the cost because it works. Dog: mini Aussie (f) Age: 3 years old. PS. Yes, my consult was also over the phone, but Adam gave so much information initially FOR FREE. Lots of basic training tips and tricks, so even if I didn't choose to go with him, he still leaves you with tips to make your dog better. Who else would do this except someone who just wants the best for dogs?

Adam is the best dog trainer I have ever met. If you think Cesar Milan is good, you should see what your dog can do after Adam does some dog whispering. And not just dogs, he can even train some people.

Adam and the Good Dog OC team are phenomenal. Attentive, respectful, and everything you’d hope for in those that are training your animals. My two retrievers loved Adam and I will continue to refer my near and dear friends to ensure they receive the same care I was fortunate enough to find through his team. Keep it up and thank you, again!

Adam is amazing. My 120lb aggressive pitbull named Taco would go after every dog and small child. Adam is amazing. My 120lb aggressive pitbull named Taco would go after every dog and small child. I was at my wits end and thought I might have to put my best friend down out of fear that he would get away from me and actually hurt someone. After 5 minutes, Taco was ignoring dogs walking near him, and was a great, well behaved companion until he passed from cancer last year. You won't find a trainer that cares more, or gets better results than Good Dog OC. They are well worth the price if you care for your fur-baby.

I scheduled for an initial appointment 17 days prior with the expectation that it would be an in person training. Email and text reminders mentioned 1 hr and 30 minutes but NEVER mentioned that it was for a phone consultation. I took a day off just for that date and was so excited to get my dog trained. I understand that they get 5 stars because of the "training" part but I would call this false advertisement. First impressions are very important, even if my negative review is ONLY about the appointment. Trust is very important and professional ethics, too. The morning of my appointment date, I got a text stating that it will be for a phone appointment ONLY. They should have been more forthcoming and told me about that 1 important detail. 😒 I'm so disappointed and here I am wanting to help our community by trying out our local businesses. Bad, bad bad experience.
