I am waaaaaay outside of the driving range for this company, but I called anyway to see if I could somehow manage to take my pup since this company has a lot of great reviews… I ultimately won’t be able to make the super long commute, but I had to leave a review for such a refreshingly helpful experience that I had with the owner of this company. She actively listened to my concerns and experience with training my pup (a Doberman), and even though the range is beyond the distance for me to drive, she still took the time to give me some very viable resources to help! She didn’t have to offer such help, so I’m really grateful; that’s the type of person people want to work with… awesome and thank you! 😊

Spectacular training experience! I adopted my dog in January and went through the Basic Obedience program starting in April. It made a huge impact on both him and me, thanks to the detailed care and attention Adele puts in to working with each dog. Throughout the training program I learned valuable skills for dealing with my dog's specific needs and behavior patterns, and now I have much higher confidence in myself and trust in him. After the Basic Obedience program we have continued to work with Adele through her Good Dog Club meetups with other dogs and owners who have completed such training, and these ongoing training meetups are the highlights of mine and my dog's weeks. Ongoing skill development is crucial for growth and maintenance, and working with other dogs in various situations is a really fun and exciting experience. When a human is working with a personal trainer for fitness, it's important for them to exercise on their own between sessions with the trainer, and not to expect results from simply showing up to the weekly sessions. The same is true when training a dog, so be prepared to put in some time every day in the week between obedience classes to practice and reinforce the skills you and your dog are working on that week. You'll learn what you need to do for your dog, and if you put the effort in to practice and reinforce these concepts you'll develop a fantastic bond with your dog and have a great time doing it!
