My dog and I have been through two 6 week sessions. My large dog had a lot of issues with socializing with other dogs, getting too excited, and jumping on people. He is sooo much better now. He showed so much improvement in the first sessions, we decided to do another session. He still has a ways to go, and we'll continue with the classes for awhile. My dog is excited as we're driving up to the lession. He enjoys the mental stimulation, so it's certainly a positive experience for him. The training has really calmed him down, which really helps make him (and me) happier. Adelita is great with the dogs. She's also training me to better work with his personality and traits. Overall, I'd recommend Adelita to anyone looking to train their dog.

I was looking for group classes for dog training as my very easily distracted dog needed a real life setting to learn in. I’m so glad we chose Good Dog Training with Adelita and got to learn from her. The course is intensive and effective, and sets you up for success to continue training thru your dog’s life. We made some great friends and learned so many new skills!

Hi Luis, I’m sorry I was unable to help you as I am currently booked up right now. I’m glad I was able to provide you with the APDT website that would enable you to find a trainer closer to your house (as I had also mentioned I was unable to go to your area). I wanted to give clarity to your comment above. My obedience classes book up fast but, I do begin new dog training classes in Burbank/Glendale on the first weekend of every month. It is a 6 week class and includes Basic Obedience and a lot more. A lot of people bring their puppies or rescues who need help with socialization. If you don’t find anything on the website I told you about you can always ask your Veterinarian if they have someone they recommend. I do wish you both the best.

We did a 1 hour private lesson and it was amazing. I’ve owned dogs for years but the lesson was so good at reminding me of things I had forgotten, and of showing me best behaviors for the for the future. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough

I adopted a small poodle mix from the East Valley Animal Shelter recently. Kobe was a hot mess. My veterinarian has said that Kobe has small dog syndrome. In layman's terms, a Napoleon complex. Through Adelita's patience and guidance I am learning how to live with him. Kobe had some separation anxiety issues and with some valuable training and tips those issues have disappeared. Through private sessions we are currently working on basic commands, walking with many distractions, and socialization. With Adelita's awesome training experience I am confident that Kobe will become a "Good Dog". Adelita, thank you for seeing Kobe's potential and giving me the confidence to make sure that he succeeds.
