Good Dog, DYNO

I can't recommend this team more highly. Jonna and Lydia are amazing. We've done the basic obedience class, a tricks workshop, and now my dog does Barks and Rec weekly. My dog is thrilled when she sees us pull up to the building. I am thrilled that she gets such good training. She has made enormous progress since we started going there, and I have learned so much about how to help her learn and grow. Jonna and Lydia have the most kind, gentle tone when talking to the dogs while also modeling how to have clear (but age appropriate) expectations. My dog is flourishing. The team is amazing. This is definitely the place to go!!!

We welcomed a furry friend this past November, Hizō the Shiba, and even though it’s been only barely 3 months, it feels like we’ve known him forever. Sure, the road is rocky at times, but along the way, we learned how to embrace his paw-some and paw-dorable puppy-ness, pick up the rocks, throw ‘em and play! 😊 And we couldn’t have done this without @gooddogdynodogtraining, especially Lydia, Jonna, and Savannah. From the first day of puppy socialization when Hizō hid in his crate, I’m grateful for Savannah’s kindness and patience - luring him with treats and love, and most importantly, letting him do what felt safe for him, that he eventually stepped out of his crate in his own terms. When another puppy had a mighty crush on Hizō who ended up targeting him from across the room, ran towards him that he ended up hiding behind my leg shivering (who knew how to flirt when they were babies anyway), Jonna was there to listen to my concerns and anxiety as a first pup-mom, and thank me for sharing and advocating for Hizō 🥲 And lastly, but certainly not the least, Lydia has been our teacher for the past six weeks that led to Hizō’s AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy certification. During the training, we were thrown into a lot of new experiences, but Hizō felt comfortable, ready to learn, and safe with Lydia - and so did we. Every session gave us a chance to strengthen our bond with Hizō, and now that we have a common language, Hizō gradually is able to build his trust in us — as his trainers, cuddle bugs, and friends. I could tell how not only he’s become a more confident, calmer, and happier pup, but also able to tune into our feelings — from sitting down and relaxing when we are hanging out with friends to having diarrhea when we’re couch-ridden with flu — and so are we to his. Through Lydia, we learned that a puppy’s behavior is neither bad or good, but a message or feeeeelings that our fur friend would like to share with us. Until next training! ❤️

We took our pup to the beginner class Fido Foundations and we (and our pup) loved it! The classes made me more confident in training, and our dog grew so much in his skills over the 6 weeks. Lydia is an amazing, knowledgeable trainer who gave great pointers and helped problem-solve any problems we encountered. You can tell that she really cares about every dog that she works with. We’re excited to continue our training with Good Dog Dyno and can’t recommend them enough!

I'm so glad we found Good Dog, DYNO! We started bringing our super shy puppy to their (free) Wiggle Waggers class when he was about 12 weeks old. 8 weeks later he is so much more confident and better at socializing with other dogs and people. Lydia was especially helpful and would adjust the class setup for him based on what other dogs were in attendance and his shyness level that day. It was incredible to see him improve each time we went! Now that he's aged out of the Wiggle Waggers class we are excited to start attending their Release The Beast class for more training focused socialization.
