My husband and I rescued a very anxious and occasionally reactive dog from a less than reputable rescue (as we later found out), and suffice it to say he is the love of our lives. But even as experienced dog owners, we needed help building his confidence and obedience. Terrie and Gina at Good Dog Coaching took Archie on for board and train for 4 weeks, and what we got back was a confident, obedient, happier dog. They did a wonderful job keeping us updated and making sure we had the knowledge and tools to keep Archie as confident and happy as ever. 5/5 Stars.

Terie and her team are AMAZING. We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Terie and her team. We rescued 2 dogs in October and November last year and knew quickly that Willie, 1 year old long haired dachshund mix, needed some formal training and after checking into a few options, there was no doubt after talking to Terie that she would be the best fit for us. Shortly after we decided that our other rescue, Waylon, 4 year old Pomsky, would benefit from the same training so they both knew the same commands. What has been amazing is the difference the training has made with Waylon as he was a very nervous dog with horrible separation anxiety, something we had ever experienced with any of our previous dogs, a few being strays and rescues. He is like a different dog now and we could not be more pleased and amazed at the difference Terie's training program has made for him and especially when we crate him. He no longer whines, barks, paws at the crate for hours! He goes into his crate calmly and we rarely hear a peep out of him. We thought we were going to have to medicate him and still may, but so far, the training has done wonders for him! We are still amazed as we have never had to put any of our dogs through formal training, but the results are just incredible. Terie listened to the issues we were having with both dogs and her training program addressed everyone of them, including riding in the car peacefully, going through a drive through without barking and whining, etc. There was some homework on our part and continued work when they came home after training, but well worth the time as the reward and benefits long term are worth every penny! We sent our 10 month old German Shepherd to Terie and her team for the 4 week board and train. We had a good dog before but now we have a GREAT dog. We struggled with getting our dog to listen to us, she was terrible on the leash, and was obsessed with our cat, who wanted nothing to do with her. In just 4 weeks, Terie and her team gave our dog the confidence and skills to have better behavior on walks, not anxiously stare out the windows and bark at everything, to leave the cat be, and to learn how to just chill. The difference is amazing and my husband and I enjoy spending time with her so much more. Absolutely worth the investment and the lifelong change in our dog's life.
