Good Choice Dog Training

Becky was recommended to me by a friend and former trainer who knew the type of training I wanted for my pup Keith. We have been working with Becky now for about two years and I have been extremely pleased, not only with the training style, excellent advice, and honesty, but also with Becky’s knowledge and obvious desire to do what is best for Keith. We have participated in training classes with other dogs, taken agility and rally classes, and we have done some one-on-one training; all have been exceptional. It is obvious that Becky is passionate about helping dogs and their humans work together to strengthen their bonds to one another. I am very particular about who interacts with Keith and I could not have asked for a better person and trainer to work with. Keith absolutely adores her. We look forward to more classes and doing more agility training!

I went to a puppy playdate at Good Choice Dog Training and unfortunately I found the experience very unprofessional. I had read good reviews about them prior to attending however I was very unimpressed with the instructors. To be fair, my 10 week old sheltie puppy was the smallest dog there and all the other pups were twice his size or bigger, but the instructors tossed a bunch of toys into the middle of the play pen and had us unleash our dogs to just "see what happens." The dogs were not eased into the situation, the instructors didn't seem to organize us by our pup's age or personality, and I found the situation very unprofessional and unsafe for all the puppies. I'm not a dog trainer but I feel I have learned more from reading quality puppy training books and watching good material on YouTube than I ever would at this location.
