Gone to the Dogs Training

We had a great experience with Theresa Giannino of Gone to the Dogs. We contacted Teresa because our rescue dog, whom we had no knowledge of her life before us, was acting out and behaving wildly. Until training with Teresa, we didn't realize this behavior was due to our dog's anxiety and fear. Theresa's extensive knowledge of dog behaviors, anxiety, and fear as well as her use of positive reinforcement through clicker and treats, made her a great match for us. Theresa was very patient and compassionate. As we practiced different commands, she would explain what to look for in our dog to know the correct timing to click and treat.After our sessions she would email further reading of what we covered in class. I highly recommend Theresa Giannino of Gone to the Dogs.

From our very first session, we felt a connection with Theresa and the way she trains and teaches. Our only regret is not finding her sooner. Our high-energy lab puppy was 4 months when we started and we desperately needed the help. We were constantly saying "no" and not on the same page as a family with how we were trying to train. Theresa is clear, consise, consistent, and she really cares about your dog. She's not afraid to tell you when you're confusing your dog and she's right on top of you when you or your dog do something great. After 6 weeks of Puppy Kindergarten, our pup is doing amazing things! With lots of work ahead, we feel confident and proud of the progess we've made and we can't thank Theresa enough! Highly, highly recommend her. She also takes time to share important articles and information on healthy food for dogs, neutering/spaying, and so much more. She goes above and beyond and we are so thankful we found her.
