Golden Opportunities for Independence

Walpole is incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful organization in their community. Willow, who was born, raised and trained at GOFI, is the Walpole Middle School facility dog and has touched countless lives. GOFI also partners with our Walpole students and clubs to offer numerous volunteer opportunities and access to their programs in order to enrich their lives. On a personal level, my daughter volunteered and was employed by GOFI for a number of years. Her love of animals was nourished having a close, personal connection with the Executive Director, who selflessly volunteers countless hours of her own personal time to fostering an inclusive, ethical, and caring atmosphere. This organization has always put the safety, care and wellbeing of their animals at the forefront of any decisions made. GOFI goes above and beyond to create lifelong connections with all of their working dogs and dogs they place in homes as pets. We are fortunate to have access to this special place, the trainers, staff and pups.

I wish I could give 10 stars!!!! I have known the owner of GOFI for almost my whole life and I have had 2 of her beautiful dogs. She is a kind, caring and compassionate person who ALWAYS put the needs of her dogs (or any animal) first. I trust her with the life of my dogs 1000%. GOFI does wonderful work in the community between providing personal service dogs or police community resource dogs they are always doing amazing things. The number of happy, healthy GOFI dogs in the community is a testament to itself. I would recommend GOFI to anyone that asks me!!!
