Golden Gate Dog Sports

I own a young field Golden Retriever with boundless energy that needs to be channeled into productive, fun activities. I discovered Golden Gate Dog Sports online and was immediately impressed by their offerings. We started with the Sports Sampler to see which disciplines—tricks, agility, or nose work—would most excite her, and it turns out she loved all of them! Our trainer, Erika, made every sport feel exciting and accessible, ensuring all the dogs had a fantastic time. We’ve since moved on to Pre-Agility with Erin, who is equally wonderful and passionate. The facility is impressively clean and organized, and the curriculum is designed so that every dog feels encouraged and successful. It’s clear the team takes their work seriously while keeping the atmosphere joyful. Five stars—we both absolutely love it here!

This is THE PLACE to go for agility training! The facility is huge and covered with artificial grass. The trainers are all nice and very professional. And experienced! Both me and my dog love coming here. It is so rewarding seeing my dog progress on agility drills. Definitely come here if you are serious about agility. Agility is such a fun sport! They also have other fun programs that I have not tried.

My Husky mix has energy to burn. She loves, loves agility and thrives on direction. When class is over, she sighs and snoozes in the car, mentally and physically baked. We’ve been taking classes here for about two years, which is a commitment. The instructors are stellar, mostly patient, and I have fun even though I can be tripping over myself (HACE episode several years ago). Learning cross-species communication through agility is wild. Who knew that a slight change in body position telegraphed so much! It makes you wonder. The location is in an industrial/warehouse district that reflects urban decline but the indoor space, equipment and trainers are premier. GGDS Agility is an eye-opening odyssey!
