Gold Hill Canine

Ashley at Gold Hill is amazing! He’s worked with 2 of my huskies Kylo and Padmé and worked wonders. Kylo went to Ashley’s as a one year old pup and is the best dog now. Well behaved and a pleasure to bring everywhere! Then Ashley worked with our 2 year old female rescue Padmé on her resource guarding where when she came home she started learning to share and not be so jealous and angry. I would recommend Ashley over and over again for even the most insanely hyper or agressive dogs. Don’t give up on your pup- take them to Ashley.

Ashley, Megan and Gold Hill Canine are the absolute BEST! We've got a rescue Jack Russell Terrier who came back to us after three weeks of training a changed man! Previously, he was leash reactive and barked at everything. We couldn't take him anywhere and even had to keep our blinds closed all day because he would get set off by the postal carrier, UPS, neighborhood cats, squirrels, animals on tv, the Sacramento Kings basketball games, lizards, the two doodles that live across the street, and even the vultures flying in the sky. After training (him and us!) he's still his hilarious spunky self, but is MUCH calmer and loves going on walks (during the day!) and even in the car with us many places. The training was worth every penny. I'm writing this 8 months after the training to testify that this really works to bring lasting change in all of our lives. For personality reference, I'm including a picture of him doing one of his favorite hobbies-- rearranging everyone's socks.

My dog Ragnar is sooo much better than how he used to be. Rags was trained this past July (2022). He was a good dog before, but had a problem with his temperment and obeying commands. Now he is a great dog. We went to High Hill Ranch in Apple 🍎 Hill by Placerville today. Apple orchard with food, crafts, small country stores, etc. It is very pet friendly. There were several hundred people there with at least 50 dogs on leash. He never barked once even when another dog started barking at him. He obeyed all commands and never moved once from my side. He WAS the calmest dog there.
